William Melvin Kelley Jr., 64, of Hickory passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born November 17th, 1958 he was the son of the late William Melvin Kelley Sr. and Earlene Church Kelley.
He is survived by his wife Wanda Brown Kelley; three sons Jesse Kelley of Newton, Jeffrey Kelley of Newton, and Eric Kelley (Jessica) of Hickory; seven grandchildren Tanner Kelley, Zaylee Kelley, Bryenlee Kelley, Kyle Schultz, Corey Kelley, Alyssa Kelley, and Elijah Kelley; four sisters with Mary Ann Kelley and Annette Brown being special to him; and two brothers.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Ember Joann Kelley; and a sister Martha Triplett.
The family is having a private service with a possible memorial service scheduled at a later time.
