Stephen Ernest Hildebran, 71, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, at Mission Hospital McDowell. Born October 15th, 1952 he was the son of the late Virgil Ernest Hildebran Jr. and Ruth Wilamina Hildebran. He
was an Air Force veteran of 9 years with his last stop being Alaska before he was honorably discharged. He was a hard worker and was firm with his kids; he taught them right from wrong and how to survive. He loved boating, skiing, fishing, and he enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was adventurous and enjoyed taking his family camping. He loved his jokes and was a happy-go-lucky man but most importantly he was a devoted husband and father, who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Miller Hildebran; a daughter Heather Feimster; three granddaughters Kayla Marie Feimster, Kendra Michelle Feimster, and Stevie Rose Hildebran; two sisters Pat Williamson (Gary) and Peggy Perry; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Brian Travis Hildebran.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 3:00 PM, at Henry River Baptist Church, 4095 Henry River Road, Hickory, NC 28602.
