December 31, 1961 — June 6, 2023
Sharon Louise Murtagh, 61, of Hickory passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at her home. Sharon enjoyed the beach with her family and being with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband Bill Murtagh of Hickory; three daughters Krystal Travis (Brandon) of Hickory and their two children Baylee Bumgarner and Briley Travis; Wendy Howell (Josh) of Sylva and their two children Keoni and Kai Howell; and Megan Phelps (Robbie) of Granite Falls and their daughter Callie Phelps.
The family would like to thank the staff of Carolina Caring and Catawba Valley Medical Center Radiology for their love and kindness of Sharon in her time of need.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Caring Cremations 609 Highland Ave SE, Hickory, NC 28602.
To add to the celebration of Sharon's life the family has asked that everyone wear something colorful.
