Sandra Watkins

Sandra Lynn Watkins, 68, of Hickory passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born August 14th, 1954 she was the daughter of Albert Odell Umbarger and Mattie Hale Umbarger. Momma Moon Beam's heart was bigger than any describable words, her strength was admirable, and her laugh was so contagious. She loved animals, children, and she loved participating in charity work. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains. She loved and is loved by so many; to know her was to be blessed. God gained a true ANGEL. Now her sweet soul can rest, worry-free and enjoy all the precious time with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will forever be loved and never forgotten.

She was survived by her daughter Nicole "Niki" Watkins (Kevin Roy); her son Davin Watkins (Kendra Eckard); two grandchildren Davin Phillip II and Niyah; and two brothers Ronald Umbarger and Donald Umbarger.

She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Mattie Umbarger.
