Richard Craft

Richard Gray Craft, born September 2nd, 1956, of Hickory, NC passed away December 18th, 2021, at Frye Regional Medical Center, after an extended battle with his health. Mr. Craft attended Gamewell-Collettsville High School and graduated with honors from Gardner Webb University with a major in business and accounting and a minor in music. After graduation he worked for Grazette Accounting and obtained his CPA licenses. He then went to work for mom and pop’s Western Steer as CFO. He later left and went into business for himself as a CPA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances J Holder Craft Martin of Gamewell; a stepfather Howard Martin; his father S.T Craft of Winston Salem NC; and a brother Ronnie Craft.

Left to mourn him are his maternal aunt Grace Holder of Shaire Center, Lenoir NC; his three children Bailey, Walker and Cameron Robinson; his sister Robin L Johnson; several nieces and nephews; stepsisters and stepbrothers of Winston Salem; and his long-time friends Carole H Wilson Auton, Julie Wilson, and Justin Wilson.
