Michael Wright

Michael Shawn Wright 46 of Vale passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born December 3rd, 1977 he was the son of the late Steve A. Wright and Judy Ann Strange Wright. Known for his infectious laughter and warm heart, Michael had an unparalleled gift for making people smile. Whether through a witty joke, a gentle encouragement, or simply a listening ear, he brightened the lives of everyone he encountered. Michael found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of nature. He cherished the thrill and tranquility of hunting and fishing, often sharing these moments with those he loved. Above all, Michael treasured the time spent with his children. His legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on through them, continuing to inspire and uplift in his absence.

He is survived by two sons Hunter Wright and Mayson Wright; two sisters Janet Lail (Doug) and Dana Wright; three nephews Nicholas Willis, Tyler Lail, and Noah Lail; and a good friend and mother to Mayson, Melisha Shehan.

He is preceded in death by his parents Steve A. Wright and Judy Ann Strange Wright.
