Martha Hendershot

Martha (Martie) Anne Hendershot, 37, born September 13, 1985, went to be with the Lord on June 7, 2023. Her sweet smile, friendly demeanor, and bubbly personality will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents Norm and Beth Hendershot, she leaves behind her fiance Derrick Harmon, precious daughters Evangeline (Evie) Chace Norman and Austyn Lee Harmon, all three of whom were her world; her sister Laine Elizabeth Yount (Shaun); nieces Finley Claire Yount, and Hadley Elizabeth Yount; a nephew Asher Emmit Yount; a brother Clifford Tate Hendershot (Britney); her mother-in-love to be, Jeanne Harmon; grandfather-in-love to be, Jim Sipe; sister-in-love to be, Miranda Hannah (Marcus); a niece Demi Wray; and a nephew Jayden Hannah.

She was preceded in death by her younger sister, Macy Marie Hendershot, just last year.

It is our sincere hope that she and her sister, Macy, will be able to stay out of trouble, now that they have been reunited, as they were always partners in crime when here on earth.

The Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 at 7:30 PM at Kingdom Life Church, 691 9th Street NW, Hickory, NC 28602. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service, beginning at 7:00 PM.
