Jessica Harrison

Jessica Lathine Cook Harrison, 46, of Taylorsville passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born November 1st, 1977, she was the daughter of Lathyn Darnell Cook and the late Yvonne Elaine Erwood Lyalls. Jessica was known for her generosity and willingness to help others. She had a great love for her family and friends, always putting their needs above her own. She enjoyed spending time by the pool and listening to music. Jessica will be remembered for her caring nature, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her father Lathyn Cook of Hickory, NC; a step-father Randy Lyalls of Taylorsville, NC; four sisters Renee Cook (Marvin) of Dothan, AL, Jennifer Cook of Taylorsville, NC, Gianna Cook of Hickory, NC, and Mari Jane Cook of Hickory, NC; three brothers David Hartman of Ocala, FL, T.J. Cook of Boone, NC, and Darren Cook of Tennessee; a niece Ally Cook of Dothan, AL; a nephew Samuel Cook Dothan, AL; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother Yvonne Lyalls.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 at The Purpose Church, 182 Boston Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
