Jacob Edward Lucko MSGT USMC (ret) was called home Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Charles George VA Medical Center with his wife of nearly 24 years by his side. Born on March 9, 1981, he was the son of Edward John Lucko and Margaret Ann Lucko.

In March of 2001, Jake enlisted in active duty with the United States Marine Corps. He served honorably through multiple missions and deployments in direct support of the Global War on Terror, retiring in October 2022. Jake joined the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA) in 2020 quickly becoming an active full member donating his time, miles, and camaraderie in multiple states.

Ever the jokester, Jake was quick with his wit, quips, stories, and humor. His intelligence, curiosity, and determination brought joy to everyone who met him. He shared his passions through countless hobbies and endeavors, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife April Ann Lucko of North Carolina; his daughter, Leslie Ilyse Lucko of North Carolina; his son, Jacob Wyatt Lucko of North Carolina; his parents, Edward and Margaret Lucko of Pennsylvania; his grandmother, Betty Lucko of Pennsylvania; and his two brothers, Eric Lucko (Brook) of Pennsylvania and Wes Lucko (Becca) and their son, Henry, of Pennsylvania.
