Dyanne Gordon Riley passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Vale on Saturday, November 25th, 2023. Born July 9th, 1935, in Hickory to the late Jervis Edwards Gordon II and Katherine Cleo Frye Gordon.
Dyanne worked in the furniture industry as a cloth cutter at Century Furniture until her retirement in 2000.
Those left to cherish her memory are a son Gene Riley (Kim) of Hudson; two daughters Kathy Frizsell (Rick) of Vale and Lisa Ritchie (Michael) of Longview; a brother Jervis Gordon III (Brenda) of Hickory; a sister Sara Frizsell (Allen) of Hildebran; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William Scott Riley of Longview.
A receiving will be held Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Open Door / Penelope Baptist Church, 3310 Main Avenue NW, Hickory, NC 28601.
Memorials can be made in her name to Carolina Caring at 3971 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
