Clevain Bruce

Clevain "Gayle" Estes Bruce, 71, of Catawba formally of Statesville passed peacefully and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born December 29th, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Samuel Dewitt Estes and L.V. Estes. Her family was so special to her; to her friends and family she went by Gayle but to her nieces and nephews she was Bibby. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.

She is survived by her daughter Shannon Moose Boyles (Jimmy); grandchildren CPL Corey Boyles (veteran USMC) and Madison Boyles; a sister Brenda Lee Plott; three brothers Eugene Estes, Jeffrey Estes (Janice), and Michael Estes (Cindy); and a special great-niece and great-nephew Taylor Reagin and Braydin Estes.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Fredna Reagin and Renny Perry; two brothers David Estes and Richard Estes; and by loved nieces and nephews Andy Reagin, Carol Reagin, Ricky Estes, Steven Estes, Timmy Estes, and Craig Plott.

The family will plan a Celebration of Life at a later date.
