Caryn Cabe Eller

Caryn Gail Cabe Eller, 60, of Conover passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Carolina Caring Catawba Valley Hospice House. Born November 19th, 1964 she was the daughter of the late Charlie Mack Cabe and Emily Warren Akins Cabe.

 Caryn worked for King Hickory Furniture Company in Hickory, NC, where she was dedicated to her work. However, what truly defined her was her love for her family and friends. She had a special way of bringing joy to others, especially when she dressed up as "Dayzee" the clown. She made birthdays unforgettable for her nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families, performing magic tricks and spreading laughter. Caryn also loved to travel and had a few favorite spots that brought her happiness. She enjoyed relaxing at the beach, taking trips to Pigeon Forge, TN, and visiting Cherokee, NC. 

She is survived by her husband, Phil Williams of Bethlehem, NC; three sisters, Cathy Huffman (Larry) of Hickory, NC, Carolyn Bowen (Carl) of East Bend, NC, and Vicki Hazelett of Maitland, FL; two sisters-in-law, Kathy Akins of Burlington, NC and Elizabeth Honeycutt-Akins of Fairview, NC; three nieces, Lindsey Miller (Eric) of Candler, NC, Caitlyn Thornburg (Chris) of Snow Camp, NC, and Michelle Alvarez (Juan) of Fort Wayne, IN; two nephews, Christoper Dylan Huffman of Hickory, NC and Bradley Huffman of Hickory, NC; a nephew of her heart, Caleb Foster (Savanna Vereen) of Hickory; a grandson of her heart, Amarion Foster of Hickory, NC; her "Person for Life," Janet Brown (JD) of Fairview, NC; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by two brothers Michael R. Akins and David R. Akins. 

The memorial service will at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at New Hope Community Church of Asheville, 10 Herron Street, Black Mountain, NC, 28711.
