LOWEST COST IN THE AREA
Caring Cremations owns and operates our own crematories with our own NC licensed and certified staff. You are assured that your loved one never leaves our care. Isn't that the way it should be? And that is a very good reason to choose Caring Cremations!
Most other funeral homes in our area use third party crematories. This makes it nearly impossible for those other funeral homes to manage and supervise the cremation as well as Caring Cremations can do for you.

HOW WE CAN HELP
Our professional staff at Caring Cremations are NC Certified Cremation Specialists. Our high standards require that two individuals review all cremation documents prior to cremation. This ensures all authorizations have been processed and properly documented.
Being certified means we have the credentials mandated by the state of North Carolina to represent our company and to fulfill the wishes of your family to provide the greatest Peace-of-Mind. All procedures are documented and done according to state requirements. Only one person is cremated at a time in our human retort, as required by law. We also have a pet crematory on site and all pets are cremated in their own special separate pet retort. Pets may not be cremated with a human or visa versa.
While cremation takes place, all documents, personal identification band and stainless steel identification disc are placed on the outside of the crematory. When cremation is complete, the cremated remains are placed with the stainless steel identification disc into your chosen urn. You will be contacted to arrange a convenient time to receive the cremains in the urn or container.
If you have any questions about the our cremation process, or to personally inspect our crematory or facility, please contact us at 828-855-3350.
IMMEDIATE NEED
Pre-planning your final wishes is a thoughtful, caring gift to your family, sparing them the need to make hard decisions at an emotional time.
HOW WE CAN HELP
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Start by contacting a funeral home to guide you through the process. You will need to decide on burial or cremation, choose a service type (such as a traditional funeral or memorial), and determine the location and date. The funeral director will help with necessary paperwork, coordinating with cemeteries or crematories, and other arrangements.
If no instructions were left, the responsibility falls to the closest family members to decide on the arrangements. Consider what your loved one may have preferred based on their personality, values, or any conversations you may have had. The funeral home staff can also provide guidance and support in making these decisions.
You can notify family and friends through phone calls, emails, or by creating an obituary that includes the service details. Many funeral homes offer assistance in posting obituaries online or in local newspapers. Social media and private group messages can also be effective ways to share information quickly and respectfully.
